ELGA Curriculum Powered by Operation 36 and First Tee
Our program combines First Tee and Operation 36 to deliver a fun, structured, and values-based golf experience for youth of all skill levels.
Players develop essential golf fundamentals—including putting, chipping, full swing, alignment, and on-course awareness—while learning how to practice with confidence and purpose. Using the Operation 36 model, golfers begin close to the hole and progress to longer distances as they improve, tracking measurable success by working toward a score of 36 for nine holes.
Guided by First Tee’s Five Key Commitments, participants learn to:
- Pursue goals through effort, focus, and practice
- Grow through challenge by learning from mistakes
- Collaborate with others in a supportive team environment
- Build positive self-identity and confidence
- Use good judgment on and off the course
Players also learn golf rules, safety, and etiquette, while developing leadership, sportsmanship, and respect for others.
This proven approach helps young golfers grow on the course and in life, creating a strong foundation for long-term success and enjoyment of the game.
How the program works:
1. Play Your First 9 holes. Playing on the course is the best way to learn. Coaches will provide you with a 9-hole playing experience while enrolled in Op 36.
2. Learn Skills in Fun Classes. We make learning the game feel like a game! You will make friends and learn skills in fun and engaging classes. Op 36 coaches have created over a 100+ age appropriate games that will be played in class.
3. Train and Track Progress. The Op 36 Mobile App is your guide to practicing and playing golf outside of classes. All of your playing and training data is sent to your coach automatically to help guide you in your development.

- Access to Operation 36 mobile app. (This is where you can review curriculum content, communication with coaches, log practices, and view your progress in the program!)
- Roster with First Tee to receive Youth on Course Membership. This gives discounted green fees!
Play Days:
9 hole play days sold separately $10 per play day to walk. Golf Cart Rentals on first come first serve basis sold separately.
